Thank you so much for a successful Valentines Day! With a new move just weeks under our belt, needless to say we were nervous about everyone finding our new location! However with the help of so many early orders and incredible walk-in traffic, we were sold out by noon! We apologize if we had to turn you away, but we promise that we'll have more ordered in and we'll be ready for you next year!
Well friends, needless to say we've had a ton of things happening at the shop. 2012 was a very eventful year. We did hundreds of arrangements and over 60 weddings throughout the year and then on September 14, I gave birth to Amelia Jane. Might I add my water broke while I was at work making corsages and bouts for homecoming.... Thats pretty fitting for our life at the flower shop. Two weeks later we were back at work. Amelia got to do her first wedding that weekend! We had a wonderful holiday season at Dahlias and then when the opportunity came to relocate the business in January, we jumped on it! We moved up a block and are now located at 431 E. Main St. in Montrose, CO. We've now been in our new location for a week and we're loving it! It's a bright, beautiful spot that allows us to really showcase our flowers. Now with Valentines day just a few days away, we're busy working away on processing and arranging. We're booking new weddings every week and we're thrilled for whats just around the corner.  One week left until our first wedding expo of the season! We have the most fabulous postcards on their way and we are hard at work planning the decor and flowers that we should showcase. Some trends that we're already spotting for this wedding season are 50/60's vintage and classic romance. We are loving the ideas that are brides are coming in with! We can't wait to see what continues to come our way! We hope to see you at the Pavilion this Sunday (1/22/12)! Hey, not only is it FREE to get in, but they also have a cash bar. We'll meet you there, mimosa in hand... Trying to keep it under control, but I'm thrilled about our new website! My apologies to the customers that will be mauled by my extreme website enthusiasm. Thank you so much to my husband for getting the ball rolling! I know it seems early but we're already gearing up for wedding season. We're already getting a steady stream of brides coming in to discuss their 2012 weddings. We also have two wedding expos coming up January. The first on is right here in Montrose, CO at the Pavilion on the 22nd from 10:00-3:00 and the next is in Grand Junction at the Two Rivers Convention Center on the 29th from 12:00-4:00. I'm already scheming on the displays... I'm also becoming increasingly thankful for such a wonderful staff.
